Excel Tips No 8 : Protecting Your Excel File with Password

This free microsoft excel tips no 8 is telling to Protect Your Excel File with Your Own Password. It will be useful to increase protection of our file from unauthorized people to open it.

To put password in your file, do the following step :
1. When you save document click Tools
2. Click General Option
3. General Option Windows appear, fill your password to open or your password to modify. You can fill both password.
4. Clik OK, and retype your password to ensure you put the right password.
5. Click OK, and Your File now has been protected by your own password.

Normally use menu File > Save As

you cannt use the Save Buttom in ToolBars.
