Excel Tips No 19 : Filtering Power

To activate filtering menu, you can click Menu Data - Filter or you can use shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+L .

1. After activating Filter Menu, You can filter content by Colour of the cell(Excel 2007).



2. You also be able to filter cell in a column that contain a specific word by click Number Filter - Custom Filter.



With this filter, you can filter a word within a sentence in a cell. For example, if we fill filter contain excel, so every sentence conain excel will be filtered : Microsoft Excel,Excel Tips,about Excel etc.



You also be able to filter cell with logical value, ie = less than, more than, between etc.
