Excel Tips No 2 : Autogenerate Series of Number

This free microsoft excel tips no 2 is telling how to generate series of number within a second. Just do the simple step below :

For Example we need a serial number in coloum B,

Here is the step to complete our task
1. Entry start number in coloum B6, ie : 1
2. Entry start number in coloum B7, ie : 2
3. Block / Select coloum B6 and B7,
4. Pointing your cursor in right and below corner of coloum B7, till you find "+" sign
5. Doube Click "+" sign and your serial number already generated : 1,2,3 and so on.

If you put the first and second number : 1 & 3 , you will get series : 1,3,5,7 and so on

Note : this tips will work if coloum A or C have a value/content, if coloum A or C are blank, you need to click "+" sign and drag it down till the cell you need.
